Bangga! Gim Buatan Indonesia Masuk Nominasi Game Developers Choice Awards 2024

Game Developers Choice Awards kembali digelar pada tahun ini. Penghargaan bergengsi tahunan sebagai bentuk apresiasi kepada para pengembang gim dan karyanya itu bakal berlangsung di Moscone Center di San Fracisco, California, pada 20 Maret 2024. 

Dari sejumlah nama pengembang maupun karya gim yang masuk daftar nominasi, ada satu nama yang menarik perhatian yakni A Space for the Unbound yang masuk ke dalam kategori nominasi Social Impact Award. 

A Space for the Unbound merupakan gim buatan Mojiken Studio, developer gim yang berbasis di Surabaya. Gim asal Indonesia ini diterbitkan Toge Productions, developer dan publisher gim berbasis di Tangerang yang bermitra dengan Chorus Worldwide. 

Dari kategori Social Impact Award, A Space for the Unbound akan bersaing dengan judul-judul lain yakni Assassin's Creed Mirage buatan Ubisoft Bordeaux/Ubisoft, Baldur's Gate 3 besutan Larian Studios. Kemudian Terra Nil buatan Free Lives/Devolver Digital, dan Venba dari Visai Games.

Masuknya A Space for the Unbound dalam Game Developers Choice Awards 2024 menjadi kali kedua gim ini meraih capaian tertinggi dalam industri gim Tanah Air. Sebelumnya, gim bergenre petualangan yang mengangkat kisah kehidupan siswa SMA ini masuk ke dalam nominasi The Game Awards 2023.
