Acara penghargaan MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) yang sedang berlangsung di Barclays Center, New York, Amerika Serikat mengumumkan sejumlah artis dalam daftar nominasinya. Beberapa di antaranya adalah Justin Bieber yang mendapatkan tujuh nominasi termasuk nominasi utama yaitu Artist of the Year.
Selain Bieber, rapper Megan Thee Stallion juga masuk sebagai artis dengan nominasi terbanyak dengan enam nominasi. Artis lainnya yang juga masuk untuk pertama kalinya adalah Olivia Rodrigo, The Kid LAROi, dan 24kGoldn.
